People might love music for many reasons, ranging from the artistic pleasure, the spiritual uplifting purposes and the entertainment aspect of enjoying music as a pastime. People can devote themselves to music as an amateur for their own personal pleasure. They can perform with an instrument and/or perform vocally. People can perform professionally through many mediums such as organizations, weddings, orchestras, theater, broadcasting and film production. Whether a person is amateur or a professional there is no distinction of who buys music in the form of books, sheets or compositions. Someone who performs, composes or conducts music is a musician.
